I cannot believe it is 2011 and I am only now updating the site- what can I say, it's been a busy Fall with our girl! Things are going great! Alex is such a happy girl and has brought so much joy into our home! She gets along well with both Avery and Walker, hugging one minute and fighting the next- it's like they've all been together for years! It is truly amazing how well she fits into our family!
Alex's English is coming along great! She started preschool in November and has made significant gains in just a few short months. Alex loves playing dolls and cars! She is really a well rounded girl. Alex has also adjusted to American food- she still enjoys rice almost any time of day but eats most everything and has developed quite a sweet tooth!
As you can imagine the holidays were extra special this year! Alex enjoyed every bit of it! She especially liked the houses decorated with Christmas lights and I think she really grew to like that Santa fella. It was so wonderful to watch her experience these holiday traditions for the first time.
We will start out 2011 with Alex's first surgery this Monday at 11:30. I will post more on Monday about her surgery and progress. Keep the prayers coming!
